Julia Spencer-Fleming

Julia Spencer -Fleming ( b. 1961 Plattsburgh Air Force Base in New York) is an American writer who is known for her romantic mystery thriller.

Life

Since her father was a soldier, she spent most of her childhood on various army bases, among other things, they were four years in Germany. She studied acting and history at Ithaca College in Ithaca ( City, New York) in New York State, then Jura and a Ph.D. from the University of Maine School of Law in Portland Dr. jur.

2001 won her book manuscript In the Bleak Midwinter the St. Martin's Malice Domestic Best First Traditional Mystery Award against more than 230 other entrants. In 2002 the book was published. Since then, her books is published by St. Martin's.

After the success of her books she has left her job at a law firm and devoted himself entirely to writing. She lives with her husband, three children and some animals in a very old house outside of Portland.
