Julian de Ajuriaguerra

Julián de Ajuriaguerra Otxandiano ( born January 7, 1911 in Bilbao, † March 24, 1993 in Villefranque ) was a Basque neuropsychiatrist and psychoanalyst.

Awards

Ajuriaguerra was 1975-1981 Professor of Neuropsychology du développement at the Collège de France. For his achievements in the field of polynévrites EXPERIMENTALES 1938 he received the Prix Dejerine. In 1974 he was awarded the Prix des Sciences of the City of Geneva. In 1978 he became an honorary doctorate from the University of Basque Country, and in 1982 the University of Barcelona.
