Julian Jakobsen

Julian Jakobsen ( born April 11, 1987 in Aalborg ) is a Danish professional ice hockey player who stands since 2012 at the Hamburg Freezers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Julian Jakobsen began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior division AaB Ishockey, for the first team, he was active in the AL-Bank Ligaen 2004-2007. In the 2006/07 season he also won the Danish Cup competition with his team. Subsequently, the Center spent two years playing for the league rivals Odense Bulldogs, where he was elected in 2008 for Rookie of the Year the highest Danish league. In the 2008 /09 season he won the Danish Cup competition with Odense. For the 2009/10 season he was obliged from Södertälje SK of the Swedish Elitserien. With the team he went into the next season in the second Swedish league, which HockeyAllsvenskan, from where he got another year for Södertälje on the ice.

For the 2012/13 season Jakobsen was engaged by the Hamburg Freezers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

Internationally

For Denmark Jakobsen took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2005 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2006 and 2007 at the junior level. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Championships A- 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
