Julian Prochnow

Julian Prochnow ( born July 1, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German football player.

Career

Originally from the south-west Berlin Julian Prochnow entered as a child Wacker Lankwitz in and then went to Hertha Zehlendorf and eventually played for Tennis Borussia Berlin. With the U 19 of TeBe he was in the A- Youth Cup final and scored a goal.

Shortly thereafter, he left Berlin and moved to SV Babelsberg 03 In his first two years he was there to occasional fires in the league team. It was only after the rise of the team in the Regionalliga he began to establish himself in the first team of the Potsdam and moved into the second round of the 2007/ 08 soon in the starting lineup. In the next two years he was then a regular player in defensive midfield and was able in 2010 to celebrate the second ascent with the club.

In his first season in the professional area he first had to take a back seat newcomer Tom Schütz in the fight for a regular place. In his first game from the start at eight games he saw then presented his first red card in the Babelsberg jersey. Only in the second half he cemented his place back in the team and came so anyway back to 27 inserts. After the season, he was reluctant, however, to extend his contract and eventually signed for another year.
