Juliana Grenier

Juliane Garnier († 1213/1216 ) was mistress of Caesarea in the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem.

Her parents were Hugo Garnier and Isabella of Gothman. Her brother Walter II Garnier had inherited his father's reign Caesarea to 1168.

1187 the reign of Sultan Saladin conquered. Around 1190 Walter died childless and Juliane inherited his claims to rule Caesarea. This was recaptured in 1191 and restored by the Third Crusade.

Since 1182 she was married to Guido Brisebarre, a son of Guido II of Beirut, but no later than 1192 died. She then married his second wife Aymar de Lairon, who survived and after her death joined the Hospitallers.

Your exact date of death is not known, she died between October 1213 and February 1216.

It was then her son from her first marriage, Walter III. Brisebarre, new lord of Caesarea.
