Julianne Baird

Julianne Baird ( born December 10, 1952 in Statesville, North Carolina) is an American soprano and specialist author.

Baird has two diplomas from the Eastman School of Music and a Diploma of Performing Arts by Nikolaus Harnoncourt from the Salzburg Mozarteum and a Doctor of Philosophy in Music History from Stanford University. Her debut was at the New York Philharmonic in the premiere of Steve Reich's Tehillim. Other performances with the Cleveland Orchestra and the Brooklyn Philharmonic and others followed.
