Juliano Belletti House ( born June 20, 1976 in Cascavel, Paraná ) is a retired Brazilian footballer.

Career

Clubs

The full-back started his career at Cruzeiro, from where he moved to Sao Paulo in 1995. Followed in 2002, after a brief stint at Atletico Mineiro, the transfer to Europe, for Spanish club Villarreal.

In the season 2004/ 05 Belletti changed for 5.3 million euros to the Spanish top club FC Barcelona, where he played with superstars such as Ronaldinho or Eto'o. With FC he won next to the Spanish Cup (3-0 against Betis Sevilla), the Championships in 2004/05 and 2005/ 06 as well as the Champions League in 2006. Considered as a tough and bulletproof strong rights defenders. In the Champions League final against Arsenal on 17 May 2006, he scored the winning goal (2:1).

At the beginning of the 2007/ 08 changed Belletti to Chelsea to England. On June 9, 2010 it was announced that he will leave the club.

He moved in July 2010 to Fluminense Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. End of June 2011 ended Juliano Belleti at the age of 35 years, his active career as a footballer. Shortly before, he had signed a contract with the Brazilian club Ceará SC, but denied due to physical problems no matches for the club.

National

In the Brazilian national team, he played from 2001 to 2005 a total of 23 times and scored one goal. He participated in the 2002 World Cup and there came to an insert ( in the semi-final against Turkey ).
