Dick field Schlankcichlide ( Julidochromis dickfeldi ) is an African cichlid, which has so far been detected only in the southwestern part of Lake Tanganyika in Zambia. This is where the animals live on stony or rocky ground at depths up to 35 meters. They use caves and crevices to hide and lay their eggs. The diet consists mainly of small crustaceans.

Features

The animals reach a size of up to 11 cm, the base color of the body is included. Are located on the side of three horizontal black lines that, depending on the specimen, can be continuous or interrupted. The unpaired fins may have iridescent blue hems or dot pattern. Under the eyes, on the gill covers and pages themselves can also find blue iridescent drawings.
