Julie Benz
Julie M. Benz ( born May 1, 1972 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ) is an American actress.
Life
Julie Benz has come as a daughter of a surgeon in Pittsburgh to the world. The family moved two years after her birth, according to Murrysville in neighboring Westmoreland County, where Benz with three years began skating. In 1988 she participated in the U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships and finished there the 13th and the year after, she ended her skating career. Her older siblings were 1987 U.S. Junior Champions in ice dancing and participated in international competitions. After graduating from high school in Murrysville, she studied acting at New York University.
Benz was married from 1998 to 2007 with the U.S. actor and comedian John Kassir. Early May 2012, she married Rich Orosco. Benz resides in Los Angeles.
Career
Julie Benz was mainly through her appearances as the vampire Darla on the TV series Buffy - known hunter of darkness - the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Her first film appearance was in 1990 in Two Evil Eyes. In 1991, she played in the television series Hi Honey, I'm Home. They were seen also in Good as It Gets, The Abbotts - If hatred kills love and 2000 with Shannen Doherty in the television thriller witches for the school of Satan.
It is also the original voice of Miranda Keyes from the Xbox game Halo 2
Her most successful films include Jawbreaker with Rose McGowan and George of the Jungle 2
From 2006 to 2010 Benz played in the television series Dexter 's girlfriend and later wife Rita Bennett of the protagonist of the same name. In 2008 she had a starring role alongside Sylvester Stallone in the movie Rambo. She is also on the side of Ray Stevenson as Angela in the comic book adaptation The Punisher: War Zone to see.
