Julien Perrichon

Julien ( Jean) Perrichon ( born November 6, 1566 Paris, † 1600 () Ibid? ) Was a French lutenist and composer.

His father had already Jehan as a violinist and oboist at the king's court and Julien became already with 18 years for valet and lutenist of King Henry IV, he remained in this position until his death. His date of death and the year is not known. Some sources suggest his death until about 1612, including work -ups after 1600 could have contributed to the well- proven remarriage of his wife in 1602, however, suggests that he had already died in 1600.

He left a number of works for lute in different collections, which were, in the judgment of contemporaries of great championship and is now considered an important representative of early French lute school.
