Julien Vauclair

Julien Vauclair ( born October 2, 1979 in Bure ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Lugano of the National League A since 2004.

Career

Julien Vauclair began his career as a hockey player with the HC Ajoie, for whom he made ​​his debut in the National League B in the season 1996/97. He then moved to Lugano, for in the National League A, he was the following four seasons, long active and with whom he was Swiss champion for the first time in 1999. In addition, the defender in the NHL Entry Draft, was selected in the third round than a total of 74 players in 1998 by the Ottawa Senators, for which he only played in the season 2003/ 04 a single game. The rest of the time spent Vauclair 2001-2004 at Ottawa's farm team in the American Hockey League, the Grand Rapids Griffins and Binghamton Senators.
