Juliénas

Juliénas is a commune of 850 inhabitants ( 1 January 2011) in the Rhône department in the Rhône -Alpes. It is named after the wine region Juliénas.

Geography

The community Juliénas located 15 km southwest of Macon and 15 kilometers northwest of Belleville -sur -Saône.

History

Juliénas and its neighboring community Jullié have already been established in the time of Julius Caesar and to have been named according to the origin of research for him.
