Julio Montero Castillo

Julio Montero Castillo Walter ( born April 25, 1944 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan football player.

Club career

The 1.81 meter tall defensive midfielder, nicknamed El Mudo, which partly also as a defender was used, his career began in 1964 at Liverpool Montevideo. Two years later he moved to Uruguayan giants Nacional, which he also end his career again returned to intermediate stations abroad in the Argentine club Independiente (1973 ), as well as the Spanish side FC Granada ( 1973-1975 ) ( 1975-1978 ). The time at Nacional, where he completed a total of 459 games, this was the most successful of his career as a club player.
