Julio Pérez

Julio Gervasio Pérez Gutiérrez ( born June 19, 1926 in Montevideo, Uruguay, † September 22, 2002 ibid ) ( nickname: Pata Loca Loco, Canario ) was a Uruguayan football player.

Association

Born in Barrio montevideanischen Lavalleja Pérez first played for the club Ultima Hora. This club played at the beginning of the 1940s in the Divisional extra. National

Pérez was a member of the national team of his country, with whom he won the 1950 World Cup and was in all games of Celeste in the starting lineup. In the 1954 World Cup, he was also as part of the Uruguayan banns and finished with this at the end of fourth place in the tournament.
