Biography

Aaron of Caerleon was a Jewish population of the Roman city Quadra Legionum, which was the most important military base in Wales during the Roman occupation of Britain. Aaron converted to Christianity and was executed during the persecution of Christians under Diocletian along with Julius of Caerleon Caerleon in today.

Aaron is mentioned in Gildas and Bede. His cult survived into the Middle Ages in Wales.
