Jumeirah Beach Residence
Jumeirah Beach Residence ( conventional short form " JBR ", Arabic: جميرا بيتش ريزيدنس ) is a residential complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
JBR is located in the new Dubai Dubai Marina and consists of 36 residential towers on an area of 2 million square meters. Thus, it is the largest residential complex in the world and offers accommodation for a total of 10 000 people. JBR was from 2002 of " Dubai Properties " (part of the " Dubai Holding " ) was built and opened in 2007. The cost of this project amounted to 6 billion UAE Dirhams.
Construction
Jumeirah Beach Residence consists of 36 residential towers in 6 sectors and 4 hotels. The style of the towers themselves is held in Arabic. All sectors carry Arabic names that treat life at sea:
- Murjan / مرجان ( coral ): 6 towers
- Sadaf / صدف (shell ): 7 towers
- Bahar / بحر (sea ): 7 towers
- Rimal / رمال (sand ): 6 towers
- Amwaj / أمواج (waves): 5 towers
- Shams / شمس ( Sun ): 5 towers
Also located between " Sadaf " and " Bahar ", the " Al Fattan Marine Towers ".
" The Walk "
Along the JBR is " The Walk ". Over a distance of 1.7 kilometers, you will find a variety of restaurants, cafes and small shops.
