Jump boot

Combat boots are originally special combat boots of the airborne troops or boots used in skydiving.

The boots are flexible, padded partly inside and have a tighter fit on the foot and ankle to support this with a landing of paratroopers. Some models are lined inside the shaft with foam. Thus, suspension lines do not get caught in a rollover on the jump, this, however, usually for the laces eyelets instead of hooks.
