Jun Fukuda
Jun Fukuda (Japanese福田 纯, Fukuda Jun, born February 17, 1928 in Manchuria, † December 3, 2000 in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan ) was a Japanese film director. He is mainly known for his work in the Godzilla film series.
Life
Fukuda began as an assistant director, for example, Ishiro Honda in film Rodan. With Frankenstein and the monster from the sea, he made his first film of the Godzilla series, the four more were to follow. His last film for the cinema was The Great War of the Planets (1977). After this he made some documentaries. In some of his films, he was also the writer and the music and sound effects with ( For example, in Godzilla vs.. Mechagodzilla ).
