June Haver

June Haver ( born June 10, 1926 in rock Iceland, Illinois, USA, † July 4, 2005 in Brentwood, California ) was an American actress.

Haver began singing at the age of six years on the stage and was during her youth singer in a band. 20th Century Fox hired her in 1943. In the movie Home In Indiana in 1945, she played her first leading role as Cri - Cri. In the same year she co-starred with Fred MacMurray in the film Where Do We Go From Here? , This was the only time that the pair played together in a movie.

Although they tried to make Haver the next Betty Grable, her acting career was short. They met again in 1953 MacMurray and a romantic relationship developed. They married on June 28, 1954, Haver moved gradually from show business back. The last time she appeared in 1959 in The Lucy- Desi Comedy Hour on. The couple adopted two daughters and remained together until MacMurrays death in 1991. At the urging of her friends Ann Miller and Ann Rutherford, she joined at the age of 75 years, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Haver died of respiratory failure and left behind two stepchildren, two adopted children and seven grandchildren.

She was buried in the cemetery "Holy Cross Cemetery " in Culver City, California.
