Jungle Disk

Jungle Disk (sometimes called Jungle Disk) is a commercial software for data storage, cloud computing providers. Originally Jungle Disk was used primarily for data backup, but also now offers opportunities to integrate storage space for cloud computing providers as local memory or to synchronize data between multiple systems.

Initially Supported Jungle Disk exclusively storing data in Amazon S3. In autumn 2008, Jungle Disk from the hosting provider Rackspace has been bought and now also supports the storage of data at this provider. Jungle Disk is available for Linux, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows.

The Jungle Disk client not only allows access to the data on the online storage (eg S3), but also the integration into the file system of the local computer as a normal network drive. Second, it offers sophisticated options for manual or automatic data backups. Also, access via a web browser is possible.
