The Euro Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2003 was the first edition of the competition and was held in Copenhagen, Denmark on 15 November 2003. The event was organized DR, the presenters were Camilla Ottesen and Remee. Winner of the competition was the eleven year old Dino Jelusic of Croatia with the song Ti si moja ljubav prva ( "You're my first love "). Participation

16 countries participated in the first edition. The interest in participating exceeded the expectations of the EBU, which therefore decided to grant a maximum of 15 countries.
