Junior Kelly

Junior Kelly ( born September 23, 1969 in Kingston, real name Keith Morgan ) is a Jamaican reggae musician.

Life

Junior Kelly was born on 23 September 1969 under the legal name Keith Morgan in Kingston, Jamaica. The family lived in rather poor circumstances. Morgan's older brother acted under the pseudonym Jim Kelly as a DJ at Killamanjaro, a renowned sound system, and supported the family financially. Through his brother Morgan came into contact with the music. When Keith is 13 years old, his brother but is shot in the immediate vicinity of their home. The mid-80s he starts to sing in sound system. At this time he also took the stage name "Junior Kelly" in honor of his brother. Since 1993, Junior Kelly is active solo and worked his way up to a person in the scene consistently known ever since.
