Junkie XL

Junkie XL ( born December 8, 1967 in Lichtenvoorde; actually Tom Holkenborg ), also JXL, is a Dutch DJ and music producer. Junkie XL is attributable to the progressive house and partially Big Beat.

After his first musical steps with the band Weekend at Waikiki he made independently in 1995 and 1997 began to publish his own tracks under the name Junkie XL. Since then, he has collaborated with many artists of the electronic music scene, including Sander Kleinenberg, Dave Gahan, Tiësto and syntax.

A wide audience in 2002 he was known with the remix of Elvis Presley's A Little Less Conversation, which was created for an advertising campaign of the sporting goods manufacturer Nike World Cup 2002.
