Jup Weber

Joseph " Jup " Weber ( born June 15, 1950 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgian politician (formerly Déi Gréng ).

Life

Weber is a graduate engineer of Forestry at the University of Natural Resources. In 1983 he was co-founder of the Luxembourg countryside. He was chairman of the Greens in Junglinster. From 1984 to 1994 he was one of the first green members of the Chamber of Deputies. In 1994 he was elected to the European Parliament. However, in 1995 he left the party and the Green Group, so that he belonged to the European Parliament as an independent delegate and member of the Group of the European Radical Alliance until 1999. Weber is an officer of the Luxembourg oak wreath Order.
