Belgian road champion in 2008 Scoring Eneco Tour 2008

Jürgen Roelandts ( born July 2, 1985 in Asse ) is a Belgian racing cyclist.

Roelandts was 2002 Belgian champion in the road race in the juniors. During the time trial, he finished in third place, just as in 2003. Since 2004 Roelandts goes to the Belgian junior team Jong Vlaanderen. In his first season there, he won a stage of the Tour de Namur, where he was successful in 2006. He also won the 2006 each a stage of the Tour of Normandy and in the Tour du Loir -et- Cher. In 2007, he was successful on a section of the Ronde van Vlaams- Brabant and he won the U23 edition of the French classic Paris -Tours. In 2008 he finished 2nd place at Nokere Koerse and became Belgian road champion.

2012, Roelandts broke during the Tour Down Under in a crash the cervical vertebrae. In the same year he competed in the Olympic Games in London and finished in seventh place in the road race.
