Jürgen Roters

Jürgen Roters ( born January 15, 1949 in Coesfeld ) is a German lawyer, civil servant, sports official and, since October 21, 2009 Mayor of Cologne. He is since 1967 member of the SPD, is married and has three children.

Education and work

After graduation in 1968 at the high school he studied Coesfeld 1968-1974 jurisprudence and put 1978, the second state law examination.
