Jürgen Rynio

Jürgen Rynio ( born April 1, 1948 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a former German football player.

Career as a footballer

The football goalkeeper Jürgen Rynio began his career in the 1960s in the West Regional at Eintracht Gelsenkirchen, after he was seen as the biggest talent Goalkeeper of the Ruhr area in his youth.

In 1967 he received his first professional contract with first division club Karlsruher SC. The young goalkeeper was able to enforce the same against the more experienced keeper Siegfried Kessler. Nevertheless, the club went into this season of the Bundesliga from the Table. Rynio moved to freshly baked German football champions 1.FC Nuremberg and was again goalkeeper of the new club. Jürgen Rynio trained as an electrician. This profession he learned at Zeche Ewald. During his time as a footballer, he was nicknamed "Max" following Max Merkel. He calls himself ironically " Bundesliga record relegated " as he holds the unequaled record to have descended five times with five different clubs from the Bundesliga.
