Juršinci

Juršinci ( German Jurschinzen ) is since 1995 an independent municipality in the Slovenian region Lower Styria.

Previously, the area of ​​the municipality Juršinci formed part of Ptuj ( Ptuj ). The municipality comprises the towns Bodkovci, Dragovic, Gabrnik, Gradiščak, Grlinci, Hlaponci, Juršinci, Kukava, Mostje, Rotman, Sakušak, Senčák pri Juršincih and Zagorci. George Dorff was first documented in 1320, the Slovenian name Juršinci is handed down in writing since the year 1409.

The municipality has 2,206 inhabitants. The parish church of St. Lawrence was first mentioned in 1322. In the 16th century the church 1517-1540 was rebuilt in the Gothic style. Inside, there is an important crossroads of Slavko Pengov.

Juršinci is a predominantly agricultural community. Mainly operate the farmers in the area vineyards and orchards.
