Justin Azevedo

Justin Azevedo ( born April 1, 1988 in West Lorne, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who is since April 2013 when HC Lev Prague in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Justin Azevedo began his career in 2004 at the Kitchener Rangers from the Canadian junior league Ontario Hockey League. He showed good performances in his debut season and came in 58 games on 18 goals and 21 assists. In the playoffs, he was also able to reach the Conference Finals with the Rangers. In the season 2005/ 06 he was already one of the leading players of the team with 69 points and was the second best scorer on the team, which he recommended himself for the Canadian junior national team and took part in the U18 World Youth Championship. With four goals and assists, he was the top scoring player in Canada, but failed to win a medal with the team, as they lost the third place match.

In the following season Azevedo came only on 56 points scorer, was missing, however, also in 22 league games. In the playoffs, but he became the second- best player in the Rangers with Steve Downie and scored four goals in eleven templates in nine games. His fourth year in the OHL should also be his best.
