Justin Currie

Justin Robert Currie ( born December 11, 1964 in Glasgow, Scotland ) is a British singer and songwriter who was known primarily for the band Del Amitri, whose lead singer and "face" he was.

Career

Together with his colleague Iain Harvie Justin Currie founded in the early 1980s, the band Del Amitri, in which Currie took the part of singing, bass playing and, together with Harvie, of the songwriting. Both achieved their commercial breakthrough with the Del Amitri project; There were seven studio albums and several radio hits in the 80s and 90s. Since 2002, Justin Currie has devoted primarily to his solo career. So far, three solo albums with self-penned songs have appeared from him, " What is Love for? " (2007), " The Great War " (2010) and " Lower Reaches " ( 2013).
