Justin Hodgman

Justin Hodgman (* June 27, 1988 in Brampton, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since October 2013 with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Justin Hodgman began his career as a hockey player with the Huntsville Otters, for which he was active in the 2004/05 season in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. He then spent four years with the Erie Otters in the Canadian top junior league Ontario Hockey League. In parallel, he gained his first experience in professional hockey with the Fort Wayne Komets of the International Hockey League, with whom he three times in a row won the Turner Cup in the years 2008, 2009 and 2010. The Center itself was named most valuable player of the playoffs in 2008 and 2009. From 2009 to 2011, the right-handed shooter ran primarily on the Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League. In parallel, he was also responsible for the Toledo Walleye and Reading Royals in the ECHL for use.

For the season 2011/12 Hodgman joined the Pelicans Lahti of the Finnish SM- liiga. In Europe, he was able to convince at first and scored a total of 76 games in 64 scorer points, including 17 goals. With his team and also achieved the playoff final, in which they, however, JYP Jyväskylä subject. For the following season the Canadians was obliged by HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk of the Kontinental Hockey League.

In October 2013, the management of Magnitogorsk, Hodgman decided against Tim Brent Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod exchange.
