Justin Sullivan

Justin Sullivan ( born April 8, 1956 in Jordan / Buckinghamshire, England ) is a British musician.

He is the lead singer and guitarist of the rock band New Model Army. In his adopted home of Bradford he met in the late 1970s to Stuart Morrow and Robert Heaton with whom he formed a band. At that time still under the name Hustler Street Band, the band had some performances - and originally it should also stick to it. Justin Sullivan, who appeared at the beginning of his career under the pseudonym Slade the Leveller, stressed in later interviews that the band was actually only planned for two to three performances. However, since the response of the audience was very positive, the three decided to continue.

Even in the early days they taken a stand on political issues and so it was not surprising that they transformed the band name soon on the basis of Oliver Cromwell, which many view as a fighter for freedom and justice in England in the 17th century in New Model Army.

Along with New Model Army Justin Sullivan has other projects, such as Red Sky Coven, a mix of folk music and poetry. He also published in 2003 his first solo album and went with two of his bandmates, Dean White and Michael Dean, in the years 2002 and 2003 on an extended semi - acoustic tour. Songs of New Model Army and Justin Sullivan 's original pieces interpreted the three in a not so far seen before manner.

Justin Sullivan lives with his partner Joolz Denby in Bradford, Yorkshire. It professes to be politically -globalization and anti-capitalism positions and sees himself spiritually as followers of paganism.
