Justus Dahinden

Justus Dahinden ( born May 18, 1925 in Zurich ) is a Swiss architect, Professor Emeritus at the Technical University of Vienna and one of the most important representatives of the post-war architecture in Switzerland.

Life

Justus Dahinden, born in 1925 in Zurich, studied from 1945 to 1949 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich architecture, as well as the time Max Frisch and Alberto Camenzind, with Prof. William darkness. Since 1955 Dahinden had his own studio in Zurich. In 1956 he is a Ph.D. with his work location determination for contemporary architecture at the ETH. In 1974 he was appointed as Professor of Interior Design and Design at the TU Vienna. He was also made head of the Institute of Interior Design and Design at the Technical University of Vienna.
