Jützenbach is a village in the Thuringian district of calibration field. Since 1 December 2011, the formerly independent municipality district of the rural community of Sunstone.

History
Jützenbach 1124 is first mentioned in the Richardis certificate and belonged to the monastery of the Benedictine monastery villages Gerode. Its sovereign until the secularization Kurmainz. From 1815 to 1945, the place was then part of the Prussian Province of Saxony.
From 1945 Jützenbach was part of the Soviet zone of occupation and since 1949 part of the GDR. From 1961 until the turn and reunion 1989/1990 the place was close to the German border. Since 1990 Jützenbach is part of the newly founded Federal State of Thuringia.
On 1 December 2011, the municipality Jützenbach joined together with the seven other municipalities of the administrative community Eichsfeld- Suedharz the rural community of Sunstone.

- Church " St. John the Baptist ", built in 1907 as a basilica with a transept in neo-Gothic style, the tower, however, is from the early 14th century. Church with side altars, baroque altar and Pieta ( from the convent church Gerode ).

- Numerous timber- framed houses in the village
Traffic
Jützenbach lies on the railway line Bleicherode - Herzberg. This is now closed.
