Juuso Puustinen

Juuso Puustinen ( born April 5, 1988 in Kuopio ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is since 2011 at the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League under contract and playing in parallel for their farm team in Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Career

Juuso Puustinen began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of KalPa Kuopio, in which he was active until 2006. In the NHL Entry Draft in 2006 the winger was selected in the fifth round at a total of 149 site of the Calgary Flames. Then he moved to North America to the Kamloops Blazers of the Canadian junior Western Hockey League, where he was the best scorer in 2008. By the way, he played some games for the Finnish U20 national team in the play mode of the Mestis, the Finnish second division.

From 2008 to 2010 played for the Espoo Blues Pustinen in the SM- liiga and participated in the 2008/ 09 season with his team in part at the European level in the Champions Hockey League. For the 2010/11 season he moved within the SM- liiga to HPK Hämeenlinna. He was taken by the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League under contract then, for their farm team Milwaukee Admirals he plays in the 2011/12 season in the American Hockey League.

Internationally

His debut for the Finnish national team was Puustinen in 2006 in the U18 selection, where he won the silver medal at the World Championships. In the U20 World Youth Championship 2008, he was also in the squad.
