Juvenal of Benevento

Juvenal († ca 132 in Benevento) was an early Christian martyr and saint.

Juvenal is venerated as patron saint in Benevento, where he is said to have suffered martyrdom under the Emperor Hadrian. About his life little is known. Sometimes it is confused with the later bishop of Narni same name. The relics of the saints are in the church of Santa Sophia in Benevento; them will, inter alia, the liberation of the city attributed by the plague. Commemoration of the Holy is May 7
