Juvenile court

The juvenile court is the court to which the misconduct youth and adolescent criminal court ( § 33 JGG). Here is decided by a criminal court judge as a juvenile court judge, a youth jury court trial by jury or as a youth chamber as a Trial Chamber, which will be used as youth court jurors only specially qualified assessors for this activity.

A juvenile court judge directs and supervises later, in his capacity as Head of Enforcement Enforcement all arranged under the Juvenile Court Act measures the punishment of an offense.

The first juvenile courts were established in Germany in 1908 by the North American model of business allocation plan as special departments of the criminal courts. Required by law is the establishment of special juvenile courts since the introduction of the Juvenile Court Act in 1923.

A juvenile court must also be used. It brings social education important points in the judicial proceedings and decisions by in adolescents, whether they are convicted as a juvenile.
