Jyväsjärvi

The Jyväsjärvi [ Jyväsjärvi ] is a city lake in Jyväskylä, Finland, north of the Päijänne. The lake is 3.3 km ² and is situated at an altitude of 78.3 m above sea level. It has an average depth of 7 m and a maximum depth of 25 m.

The Jyväsjärvi is crossed by the 480 meter long bridge to Kuokkala and the 192 -meter long pedestrian bridge to Ylistö.

The lake freezes in the winder and it is applied on a skating rink. In summer daily driving several Ausfluggschiffe from the port, including to Lahti.

The Jyväsjärvi is through the Äijälänsalmi Channel (62 ° 13 ' 44 "N, 25 ° 48' 25 " O62.22880325.807033 ), connected to the Päijänne, the second largest lake in Finland.
