Action
Taylor and Harold are good friends and avid climbers. On one of her common climbing they meet the billionaire Phillip Claiborne, who is planning an expedition to K2, the second highest mountain in the world. When two climbers come from his team in an avalanche killed at the funeral of Taylor uses the opportunity Claiborne to convince them that he should fill the resulting gap with him and his comrades Harold. Finally, both are experienced enough to defeat one of the most difficult mountains in the world. Finally Claiborne agrees and takes the two climbers with the expedition.
The rise of the mountain proves to be very difficult. When crossing a crevasse fall several expedition members, including Malik, the middleman of the Sherpas, in depth, but can be rescued by their comrades, including Harold. Taylor can catch his fall with his ice ax, Harold, however, plunges further into the deep, hits hard on and breaks his leg. Taylor rushes to his aid and splints his leg. The further descent turns out to be very difficult as Harold can no longer cope on their own descent; he is now fully dependent on the help of his friend.
Both feel whether the adverse weather conditions and the extreme height of her powers stripped more and more. Finally, Harold asks his friend, leave him alone. This will not abandon his comrades, then decides but down alone to rise. During his descent, he finds Dallas - frozen. He takes his equipment, along with a few adrenaline syringes in itself and returns to Harold. After Harold the adrenaline was administered to gather on both and set their descent continued.
In the base camp we have now almost given up hope that Harold and Taylor ever return alive. Claiborne finally takes the decision without the two depart with his remaining team. Malik, however, sets a protest and tells the helicopter pilot to search for the missing climbers. Finally he owed one of them, namely Harold, his life.
Meanwhile, Taylor and Harold at the end of their tether and drag themselves away only with difficulty. Then, suddenly appeared on the helicopter in front of them and the two are saved.
