Kaaks

Kaaks is a municipality in the district of Steinburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. The municipality consists of the villages Eversdorf and Kaaksburg.

Geography and transport

Kaaks located north of Itzehoe. The Bekau that Mühlenau ( Stegau ), the Pöschendorfer ditch and the Krammbek flow through the community. The picnic area Kaaksburg the Federal Highway 23 is in the area of the municipality.

History

The ring wall of Kaaksburg is still preserved up to the division by a country road. It was excavated in 1930 by Hermann Hofmeister.

One of the four fish-belly bridges in Schleswig -Holstein is in Kaaks.

Policy
