Kaarel Nurmsalu

Kaarel Nurmsalu ( born April 30, 1991 Tamsalu ) is an Estonian former Nordic combined and ski jumping today.

Career

Nurmsalu, who is trained by his father Toomas among other things, launched in 2007 at the Junior World Championships in Tarvisio first time in an international competition. In the sprint, he finished 62nd and 56th place the individual competition. The Estonian team, he won the 12th place. The good results this season enabled him to start at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec. His best result was there the 35th place in the individual competition on the normal hill. At the beginning of the 2009/10 season Nurmsalu succeeded in the World Cup a moderate success.
