Kabayan, Benguet
Kabayan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Benguet. It has 13,588 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ). The municipality borders the Mount Pulag National Park, in the heart of the Cordillera Central.
The community is a hub of " Ibaloi culture", which is famous for its colorful costumes and especially by the " Kabayan mummies ". In a small museum in the town of artifacts, costumes and examples of which are " Kabayan mummies " issued.
