Kabin Buri District

Amphoe Kabin Buri ( Thai: อำเภอ กบินทร์บุรี ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southeastern province of Prachinburi. The Prachinburi province is located in the eastern region of Thailand.

Geography

Amphoe Kabin Buri is by following Amphoe limited ( as seen from the west clockwise from ): Amphoe Si Maha Phot that, Prachantakham and Na Di Prachinburi Province, Amphoe Mueang, the Sa Kaeo and Khao Chakan in the province of Sa Kaeo and Amphoe Sanam Chai Khet in the province of Chachoengsao.

History

Kabin Buri period was already during the Ayutthaya a city ( Mueang ). The administration was in Ban Hanuman. In 1906 the administration was moved to Ban Paknam. On April 1, 1926, the two circles Mueang Kabin Buri and Aranyaprathet to counties of the province of Prachinburi were.

Important rivers of the district are the Khlong Hanuman, the Khlong Phra Prong and Maenam Prachinburi.

Management

Amphoe Kabin Buri is divided into 14 municipalities ( tambon) divided, further in 192 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

There are also three small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Kabin ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล กบินทร์ ) covers parts of tambon Kabin,
  • Mueang Kao ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เมือง เก่า ) consists of parts of Tambon Mueang Kao and also from parts of the tambon Kabin,
  • Sa Bua ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล สระ บัว ) covers parts of tambon Lat Takhian.

There are also 14 " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
