Kabye people

The Kabiye are a people in Togo, Benin and Ghana, which is also known as Kabira, Cabrai, Kabye, Cabrais or KABURE. Their language is the Kabiye.

The Kabiye live in Togo over the entire center of the country spread. In Ghana and Benin, a small settlement area is inhabited at the respective border to Togo from this ethnic group.

In Togo, the Kabyié are the second largest ethnic group after the Ewe and the dominant ethnic group in the northern part of the country.
