Kadingilan, Bukidnon

Kadingilan is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Bukidnon on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It has 31 756 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 17 barangays. It belongs to the third income class municipalities in the Philippines and is described as a partially urbanized. It was on August 16, 1971 entry into force of the Republic of the Philippines Act 6268 an independent administrative unit of a Municipality.

Your neighboring municipalities are Don Carlos in the north, Kitaotao, Kibawe and Dangcagan in the northeast, Pangantucan the northwest, Banisilan and Carmen in Cotabato province in the southwest and Damulog in the southeast. The community is located about 75 km southeast of the provincial capital Malaybalay City, about 177 km south of the regional capital of Cagayan de Oro. The topography of the municipality is described in the East as undulating plains and in the West as the hills. The name is derived from the native Kadingilan words KADIAY, which means the word and our MATINGILAN which temporarily from means.
