Kadokawa Shoten

Kadokawa Shoten (Japanese角 川 书店) is an imprint of the Japanese publisher Kadokawa, known outside of Japan primarily for the publication of manga.

History

Kadokawa Shoten was founded on 10 November 1945 as a publisher of Gen'yoshi Kadokawa in Tokyo. Initially they specialized mainly on Japanese literature, published from the beginning of the 1970s, but also comics and produced films. Later Kadokawa Shoten has been involved in video games.

2013, the parent company Kadokawa Group Holdings was renamed Kadokawa and dissolved the eight publishers of the group, including Kadokawa Shoten as an independent company on 1 October 2013, and as marks ( imprints ) of Kadokawa continued.

Program

Kadokawa Shoten laid some manga magazines. The Asuka appear in which, among other D · N · Angel and X in 1999, was one of the first manga magazines for girls, which specialized not to love stories, but mainly on adventurous fantasy.
