Kadovar

Kadovar, formerly also called Blosseville Island is a small volcanic island in the South Pacific island nation of Papua New Guinea ( East Sepik Province ).
The approximately 2 km ² large island is the southernmost of Le Maire and islands located 45 km east of the mainland (Cape Girgir ) and 5 km south of the island Blup Blup. The highest point of Kadovar is located 365 m above sea level.
The few inhabitants of the island settled in small villages on the west coast and living from fishing.
