Kaeng Sanam Nang District
Amphoe Kaeng Sanam Nang ( Thai: อำเภอ แก้ง สนาม นาง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Nakhon Ratchasima. The Nakhon Ratchasima province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.
Geography
Amphoe Kaeng Sanam Nang borders the following districts (from north clockwise): the Amphoe Mueang Chaiyaphum and Khon Sawan in the province of Chaiyaphum, at Amphoe Waeng Noi province of Khon Kaen, and to the Amphoe Bua Yai and Ban Lueam in the province Nakhon Ratchasima.
History
Kaeng Sanam Nang was born on January 7, 1986 initially as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the four Tambon Kaeng Sanam Nang, Non Samran, Bueng Phalai and Si Suk Amphoe Bua Yai were separated from. On 20 October 1993 he was officially promoted to Amphoe.
Management
Amphoe Kaeng Sanam Nang is divided into five subdistricts ( tambon), which in turn have together 56 municipalities ( Muban ).
There is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Bueng Samrong ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บึง สำโรง ), consisting of the whole tambon Samrong Bueng.
There are also four administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
