Kagamil Iceland ( aleutian: Qagaamila ) is the Islands of Four Mountains, the northernmost island. It is located 6 km north of Chuginadak Iceland and is located 2 km south of Uliaga Iceland. It is 10 km long and 5 km wide. The island is difficult to achieve.

The volcano

The southern half of the island is determined by the Kagamil volcano. It is a stratovolcano. This has two peaks, the higher is 893 m above sea level, the lower is 690 m high. From the volcanic activity also bear witness to hot springs and fumaroles on the south -east side of the island. The last (known) outbreak in December 1929.
