Kaifenheim
Kaifenheim is a municipality in the Eifel in Rhineland-Palatinate, Cochem- Zell. It belongs to the municipality Emperor Esch.
Geography
Kaifenheim is located seven kilometers east of the city Kaisersesch and nine kilometers southwest of the city Polch just east of Federal Highway 48, the village extends on a north ( hill Erfist ) south to Brohlbach sloping terrain and covers altitudes between 340 m above sea level. Sea level and 375 m above sea level. NN. History
Kaifenheim received its first official called on August 13, 1005 as " Kiuenheim quoque in pago Meinuelt et Comitatu Bethelini " Heinrich II donated various goods as the King Adalbert pin to Aachen. Keiffenheim occurs today in Mayen's still room on the family name.

Parish council
The local council in Kaifenheim consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

- Wash house festival: On the 2nd weekend in August takes place the wash house festival at the village well ( Chapel Street ). Organized and conducted by the local clubs.
- Fair: On the 2nd weekend in September takes place the traditional fun fair in the town hall. Organized and conducted by the local clubs.
- Theatre: The theater club Kaifenheim plays several weekends in November at a comedy, which is listed in Platt.
